This Tsunami is an 8" chefs knife made with Damasteel. The handle is a contoured "coke bottle" ergonomic shape made from stabilized Spalted Tamarind , Olive G10 liners and fitted with a signature custom brass pin. The tang and blade spine have been tapered to reduce weight. The choil and spine have also been rounded and polished to eliminate hot spots.
The steel is a combination of two hardening and corrosion resistant steels made from powder metallurgy. These steels are worked by blacksmiths in Sweden to create the pattern you see on the blade.
